Composition
MCIR 515FR is a filled Unsaturated Polyester Resin with medium reactivity based on Orthopthalic and standard Glycols, dissolved in/cross linked with Styrene, & fire retardant with other suitable additives. Hence for Gelling in proposed Gel Time, Promotor and Catalyst/Accelerator needed to be used as per quantity of Promotor and Catalyst proposed by supplier.
This Resin casted with Fiberglass products meet Flame retardance efficiency test UL® 94HB. This test is performed under strictly controlled conditions where a flame spread rating is assigned
according to comparisons with test setpoint materials. The behavior of the cured composite under these controlled conditions can vary from an actual fire situation.
Applications
- MCIR-515-FR is an efficient flame retardant Resin for producing.
- Hand lay-up, Spray-up, Hand lay-up and filament winding Pipe, tanks.
- Stack scrubbers, Electric DB & other Equipments.
- Where Flame retardency is required.
