Composition & Recommendation for Use
MCIR-313-ISO is an Unsaturated Polyester Resin based on Isophthalic Acid and standard Glycols, dissolved in and cross linked with Styrene with specially structured polymerization to create a product specially suitable for pipe manufacture, and generally for manufacturing good chemical & Mechanical resistance.
Applications
- Pipes & Tank through Filament winding.
- Hand lay-up & spray-up to high strength FRP products.
- Mechanical & Chemical resistance layers of tanks.
- Fishing Boats, Yachts.
Properties
- Good gelling properties at low corrosion, good crack & craze resistance, high impact strength.
- Good Laminating & wetting properties, & high tensile elongation.
- Medium reactivity.
